Personal impact

Oxford Branch

I always step up to any challenge put in front of me. In the past I have taken on the responsibility of covering for my Area Manager on an interim basis as well as remaining accountable for my own role in branch. I learnt so much but felt so valued that i was trusted with this great opportunity. Earlier this year I was successful in becoming a Cluster Manager and have taken on the responsibility of managing 5 additional branches. I have a passion to succeed by helping others to achieve their goals and provide our customers with a service that’s second to none. Teamwork is a key element in my approach to work and my inclusive nature means our branches feel supported and are able to share best practice and better develop their skills and experience.

"Vicky has always stepped up to any challenge put in front of her. In the past she has taken on the responsibility of covering for her Area Manager on an interim basis as well as remaining accountable for her own role in branch. Earlier this year Vicky was successful in becoming a Cluster Manager and has taken on the responsibility of managing 5 additional branches. She has a passion to succeed by helping others to achieve their goals and provide our customers with a service that’s second to none. Teamwork is a key element in Vicky’s approach to work and her inclusive nature means our branches feel supported and are able to share best practice and better develop their skills and experience. Vicky has an inspiring attitude when faced with new challenges- her first words are usually `Let’s give it a go!´"
"I started working with Vicky when she took up the role of District Partner. Vicky immediately immersed herself in the role, and started to address the challenges she faced in her new role straight away, whilst still effectively managing her own branch. Vicky was quick to recognise the areas in which she needed support in order to develop into the role of District Partner. This meant that she was able to progress rapidly and maximise the impact she had within her District by combining the new skills she had developed with the knowledge and skills she already had. The fact that she wasn’t afraid to tackle challenges head-on, whilst taking a balanced view of the situation and asking for support when needed, demonstrates her capability as an effective manager. I am really looking forward to working with her even more in her new role of Cluster Manager."
